So many people write or speak about change. You may find yourself thinking about change in your everyday life, I know I do. Some people wait their entire life for something, anything to change. Mostly, they seem to leave change to fate, chance, religion, God, other people are a popular one to choose, or they just leave it to any other reason that they can think of and believe it will initiate a change for them.

The question to ask yourself,

"Are you the person waiting for change?"

"Are you the one that will make change happen?" 

Be honest, nobody is listening and the only person you would be fooling is you.

"Are you a mover?"

"a shaker?" 

"Are you a motivator?" 

Or are you barely hanging onto the present. I think that one is me every other second of the day, LOL! Are you afraid of what is around the next corner? Do you believe that good things happen to people who wait? Or do you believe that good things happen to people who make them happen? Do you run from a challenge? Or to a challenge? Do you face a challenge head on? What do you do? Do you have an answer for yourself?

I would venture to say that most of us are terrified of change and usually it does not matter the type of change, we will be terrified. The change could be in your employment or romantic relationships, getting a bigger house or a different car, change in responsibility or a different creative idea. It may be a change in any number of these areas or any other aspect of our lives, but change is change no matter how you slice it for yourself. However, at the urge to yearn for change, we will fight change the entire way. It would make no difference what form change arrived in; the battle against change is on! In fact, when anything changes at all (in this world) our entire world is turned upside down. Strange, don't you think? Especially when everyone around the world seems to want something, anything to change.

Have you ever met anyone that fits the above description? I know I do, hence why I am writing this blog I suppose. Other than me, lol, do you know anyone else right now? What have you said to make them realize that the very thing they complained about not happening is also the very thing that they are pushing away when it is offered.

The closest comparison I can make would be a promotion at work. People want to make more money and would like to have more responsibility, generally speaking. In order to achieve this goal there is a major thing that must take place, CHANGE! Change of position involves more responsibility, more money, it involves changing the way that fellow workers looked at you, this could be good or bad I suppose, but it will most definitely be different. The biggest change of all is usually the degree of accountability you are now responsible for when accepting the promotion.

Day by day, I am so struck by the words that pour out of people’s mouths. For instance, I actually had a person tell me once that if I would only threaten him with his job that then and only then would he be capable of working better. All I could think was "Wow", this person is not only afraid of changing his mind set toward his working environment, but he would like to dump all that responsibility for that decision on my lap, so it’s all my fault that he will not change. Do you think that he was afraid of change? What would you say to him? What should you say to him? How could you change this from a negative to a positive situation? How can I put the burden of responsibility to change back in his lap?

Why do people yearn for change and then run from it? What can you do to help them realize that change in your life is exactly that "change?" Is it possible to identify the people that are afraid of change? Should we be wasting our time to help them identify themselves? Should we be offering up idea’s, position’s, promotion’s etc., that will require or initiate change, even though we know this to be their trait (fear of change). Can we be that selective? Is it wise to be that selective?

The definition of "change" in the 1959 Old Webster’s Dictionary;

1. To progress from one state of being to another, as a grub changes to a beetle (a grub is a worm-like larva of some insects, as beetles and yes it really does give that definition)

2. To become different, vary, as the colors of a sunset change.

3. To pass from one phase to another, as the moon.

As you can see, it is not a small feat to ask for, receive or recognize change. For some it may be exciting and for others it is just plain terrifying. This World is afflicted with the disease of apathy. No matter what you believe apathy is not good, not healthy, not prosperous, not growth, not anything at all! Freedom from such an affliction will only come to be through change. I believe that the people who choose to make a choice will be standing tall in the face of the unknown but they will be standing not watching. For it does not matter what you believe, it is only a matter that you believe. The loss of belief in ourselves has been disastrous for mankind and created a world that is screaming for relief from the pain and the agony which surrounds us.

Referring to the 1959 dictionary again, "belief" is defined as follows;

the intellectual acceptance of anything as true; the act of believing; a faith or creed. Syn. Assurance, confidence credence, creed, faith, reliance, trust.

Do not knock another beliefs because you do not agree, it truly is unkind and cruel. Worst of all, when you do such a thing to another being you are on purpose shattering their soul with your words. That to me, is the definition of cruelty.

In closing, and to combat what I have seen in my life, I am writing down what I believe for all of the shattered souls and hearts in the world. I would like to see those souls, hearts and minds healed and better yet, I would love to see and hear them sing again. This is only a structure that develops belief. What and how you choose to accept or use this is for yourself is for you and you lone to do with as you please. I hope that it will ignite a fire in each of us as individuals, then I hope that as an individual we choose carefully every step we take and that we impact the World with change.

So here you have it in black and white, funny or not, it is just my understanding, the 5th dimension so to speak, it is not just a Rock-n-Roll band. The 5th Dimension is the transformation of your own consciousness to understanding, not just knowing but truly understanding, what you know and choose to do. This is known to me as "Mapping", in order to achieve a finite equation of what life is to me, you must "map your own heart", "map your own soul" and "map your own mind". I would like to share with you how I see this in my own mind, and since it seems to all be a math equation anyway I thought that seeing might be part of believing;

It's Been A While

I used to think that I was interested in knowing what Love was all about of this I do confess to truth,

the idea of what Humanity continual spoke on speaking the empty piece to the filling of the concept,

told what I already knew on fact that I had not been afforded such experience an opportunity,

while in my youth I did stare and wonder of it's emotion as I saw it towards my siblings Four!!

The aspect was curious as it was a better yearning to have witnessed in my mothers eyes for them,

my mother does love my Step-father as she has that same pull within her being to his nature,

growing-up under this constant made me understand that even if I did not appreciate his prowess,

that I also had no right to dissolve or even suggest the dissolution of their partnership towards one another.

My mother did always make me laugh when she was unaware that I was watching her,

she would call my step-father into the room with the funniest yowl in her vocal chords,

a howl to the Moon so to speak with a swagger of her hips as her body sort of was in a swoon,

just as he would enter into her sight the blush on her Being was extreme he made her a bit queer!!

Not that this was a bad thing for the two of them I believe had I not been in the loop of the left overs,

their life may have enjoyed that innocent attach much more leasting circumstance as the stop.

The result of the investigate of the actual emotion has proven to be a thing that just appears to be pain,

Our Buggy Wheels and carriage wheels are built from solid steam-bent Hickory and are tough as nails, for even the hardest driving. We build them  in  even sizes from 24”-48” Tall. Standard buggy or carriage wheels wheels come  with 3/8″ deep steel tire suitable for horse drawn applications. Standard rim  width is 1″. Check option for rubber tires before checkout if you want these, and wider tires up to 3″ are available.  Standard roller bearing hubs or flush (compact) hubs for many projects including horse drawn, or just about any project you can dream up that that requires up to 1,600 lbs. or less  total weight bearing. We make wheels for much heavier projects, also.

Excellent Buggy Wheels for Doctor buggies, runabouts, buckboards, many types of carts, etc. The weight bearing of two of our standard Buggy Wheels usually exceed the weight tolerance of the axles actually intended for them. We build quality. If you have questions, you’ll talk to the owner of the company before you place your order. We will impress you. We build a lot of wheels, but they actually are built one a t a time, so most orders for Buggy wheels, Carriage Wheels, or other Wagon Wheels take about three weeks to complete taking into account proper drying time for the wood.

These wheels accept 1” or 1 1/8” axles. In the Thought of Yesterday I knew that Tomorrow was A Day because last week I remember,

The Life

I am an Obedient Role I had a soul it was sold though long ago in sad story of know,

it is in a good place for my Mother needed more than I for Eternity is a long way,

in a moment of youth more like a very small me made a decision in breath!!

Future from time to now has been spent walking around this World,

an attempt to put understanding to done & not panic about being the lost one,

so with extremes in happened the balance was to rid myself of one emotional trauma at a time,

making the end all less painful and more accepting of the comings to be.

Looking into the eyes of been has difficulties to comprehend such a spend,

however I am a mirror lend to whom shall wish upon a friend for relief in a World full of ends,

with a new theme called 'The Continue' to capture the wealth of Life Itself as a Value to measure,

not discard as useless or trash rather place importance on the passed.

In truth I see belief in the innocence of my deeds,

to trait the mortal body to better society that seems to only deceive me,

I do not venture to partner with deception or sin,

for both are not my identity nor do I wish them to travel me.

Loving to laugh and finding a path for delivery to betterment a Cause in the find,

I'd like to Trust someone in this Eventful life of what has born horror in strife,

How does it work?

Your brain creates brainwave activity every moment of your life, day and night, awake or asleep.

Each state is accompanied by specific brain wave patterns. For example, brains of people in relaxed states create gentle, slow-moving alpha waves, while those engaged in intense concentration generate quick, jagged beta waves.

Muse’s brain sensors detect the spontaneous activity of neurons in your brain.  Your brain generates electrical frequencies that are detected using electroencephalography (EEG) sensors along the surface of the scalp.

As you shift between states like concentration and relaxation, Muse’s algorithms detect the subtle changes in your brain and show you those changes in real time, just like a heart rate monitor can provide information about your physical activity. 

The medical community has used EEG technologysince the early 1920s. However, recent advances in sensor technology now make it possible to offer EEG in an easy-to-use and mobile form.

Muse sits across your forehead like a headband, and rests behind your ears like a pair of glasses. When properly worn, the EEG (electroencephalography) sensors on the front of the band make contact on your forehead, and the reference sensors on the arms rest on the backs of your ears. Muse connects wirelessly to your devices via Bluetooth. Once Muse is on, you’ll hardly notice it at all.

Built using custom algorithms designed by our in-house team of experts, the first Muse app is called Calm.  The name says it all as this app helps you calm and settle your mind and is the foundation for improving the power and capabilities of your mind with future apps.  Calm helps build skills like maintaining composure, improving concentration and enhancing productivity. 

It is virtually impossible to function at your intellectual best if you are dealing with negative emotions. We recognize how the emotional and intellectual are interconnected, which is why we've designed an integrated system to help people calm their minds. Our first app, Calm, provides sessions based on scientifically proven techniques and practices shown to reduce anxiety and stress, to focus the mind, and to foster positive rather than negative responses. These practices improve composure, mental clarity, concentration, productivity, and your EQ.

We decided to introduce this application with Muse because of discussions we had with people about their attempts to improve their mood and build a more positive outlook and the growing number of stress-related illnesses.   The problem most people had was a lack of helpful, moment-to-moment feedback to know whether what they were doing was working. People simply didn’t know whether they were doing the exercises right. Lacking direction and helpful guidance, it’s no wonder most gave up. 

This was the “A-ha!” moment for our first application.

With our background in brain-computer interfaces, we saw how EEG could provide meaningful and timely feedback to help people get past the usual stumbling blocks.  So we’ve been working with experts who teach mental practices, fusing their methods and our technology into gorgeous, compelling digital experiences to engage in with your compatible smartphone or tablet.

Who’s behind it?

InteraXon is an interdisciplinary team of artists & engineers, neuroscientists & designers. Our founders have been working with this technology for almost a decade. The team started to come together in 2007, and since then we’ve been working to make brain-computer interfaces an accessible, affordable reality.

We’re best known for the installation we created for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. It allowed people in Vancouver to control the lights on Niagara Falls, the CN Tower, and the Canadian Parliament buildings from more than 3000k (over 2000 miles!) away, using only their brainwaves!

Since then, we’ve been building the coolest things we can think of for ourselves and for others. For Wrigley’s we created a chewing game competition.  Every chew pumped up the size of one of their fruit flavors until it exploded with juice. The first to get the fruit-flavored explosion was the winner.  We also built a game where TEDxToronto after partygoers raced to fill virtual martini glasses using their brainwaves; the winners got drink tickets to make their martinis a reality. Of course, we should also give mention to our brain-sensing beer tap. Concentrate hard and the tap unleashed a frothy cold one right into your glass.

From brain sensing slot cars to responsive toasters. From levitating chairs to remote-controlled blimps. We’ve been playing and experimenting, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with this technology. It’s given us a profound understanding of what makes this technology work, what makes it fun, and what makes it meaningful. And all of that knowledge is built into Muse. 

Other people working on EEG spend most of their time thinking about the technology. At InteraXon, we’re constantly thinking about ground breaking solutions that make sense in everyday life for people just like you. It’s this focus that we think is going to make all the difference to you.

Muse is here to be the guide to the wonders of brain sensing technology for people all over the world. Beyond the initial app included with Muse will be apps created by ourselves and others – maybe including you!

We’re including an SDK (Software Development Kit) with your Muse as well. You’ll get the same set of tools for analyzing and visualizing brain waves, that we use in our lab.

We’ve spent the last four years designing Muse and developing the algorithms that make brainwaves meaningful, and we’re ready to take the next step. But taking Muse from a prototype to a finished product means we need to purchase tooling (the parts that make the parts), order components, and build test equipment to make sure everything runs smoothly. And that stuff ain’t cheap.
