For the common information for the layman in San Francisco: Small dogs are difficult to have in our town or any large city as their need to be walked is 10-12 times a day due to their small bladders. This is or can be known as animal cruelty should their bladder not be accommodated and thus the reason, only the Old's had small dogs when I was a kid as those wonders of the world would know everything. Logic now dictates, the Old's knew everything as those incredible ladies and gentlemen were on the watch!! I love the Old's and their prowess of nature makes for this conversation not to be known as a discussion.
Large dogs have much bigger bladders and for the oddest reason many people have perpetrated the crime in spoken, hence the public at-large has in constant condemned having a large dog in the cities saying that it was animal cruelty. The driven have purpose and yet those that have announced so prolifically their nature have in-turn pronounced their process as a self-identified operation. This process of self identification would happen as their reflection would be that that can serve them as a Means to an ends.
Becoming aware of the nature of dog food will enable further study as bladder problems and/or alergies have been a constant on the businesses, i.e. PetSmart. Their nature to comfort and train and provide has far surpassed the popular to stock the needs and not overlook these solutions as still their looking to identify the problem. Banfield on its hems have stitch to this as Banfield is their in-store rented veterinarian offices. Each Banfield in each PetSmart is indeed a corporation and their sales bend on Science Diet, a prescription dog and cat food. Although PetSmart and Banfield associates do not get along as Banfield employees are snobs I still encourage more research with their offices as they are Nationwide. Your comfort here is that I am not pushing PetSmart products and/or stores as we hated Banfield in store. There offices were pushy and snubbed any reason for our participation in possible learning possibilities in-order for us (on the floor) to be better educated and would then be able to immediately refer to either the aisle of grocery store pet foods or the more luxurious brands of pet foods or to their offices for more query on the pet itself. Itchy skin is a common problem however it is also more complicated than just changing food from beef based to chicken as that just is a matter of stalling the lamb formulation, and as the time between these switches is indeed based on the time it takes to see a difference the time is ill spent and may be better served should Banfield have given greater rise to their interest, overall pet health.
The bladder situation was a great frustration of their office in my store (Store #0053) and their looks always made me query their anger however no matter the quest I was always shot down. This was their way of expression, so I never took it personally as I was always able to call Arguello Pet Hospital and ask any question and know that the answer would be gentle. That comfort carried more than a shot in the dark, it gave my life and my dogs parameters, this was the comfort that has brought to my life everyday a known as the San Francisco Pound was more than by backup. The San Francisco Pound delivered the training, discipline and feeding schedules, the courage to try new foods, the ability to be wise and not choosy, the kindness to say no, and the courage to go to other Pounds and just know. I must thank the Arguello Pet Hospital for the strength of their character throughout many a hard times and I must thank the Pounds for doing more than hanging in there, I would like to say thanks for the way that you just trust us to try.
Back to the big dog in the city: Please be aware that there are opinions on this and so visiting your local Banfield would be the quickest path to your answer Nationwide as Arguello Pet Hospital is only one little veterinarian office in San Francisco and may not be able to accommodate that many phone calls. Banfield on the other hand may employ PetSmart associates with the Store Manager's permission and through their own phone lines and after being trained with appropriate scripted answers be able to serve the masses gracefully and with a gentle approach as that is the Arguello way.
Thanks for listening and please don't keep your small dog inside without knowing there is always an answer to be found at any Pet Store!! Remember, amazon is great for convenience, price efficient (so I've heard) however you really miss-out on all the local information about the environment should you not get to know your local Pet Store. Through this process the neighborhoods and local parks will be better attended and you may also find out about all public transportation that has rules and regulations for our pets in-transport so that we may all reach those great locations and in-turn enjoy days of thunder and avoid all the entanglement of those lightening introductions that can often cause or have a damaging effect on both us and our animals.
