I am so glad that all 737 Death Penalty convicted 'Murderers' are stuck in San Quentin as now the clock is not running nor is it set it just ticks like it does for the rest of us. None of us have that security of knowing when we are going to die as should that opportunity afford us this day, today, Wednesday, March 13, 2019 than I would suppose that we would all get our lives in order and clear our minds by preparing individually by whatever the individuals independent belief was. Why? The Death Row candidates have all the time to meditate and prepare for their death whereas the lives of the people and kids that those Death Row Candidates took had their lives robbed in immediacy and yet that is not true as each of those Death Row Convicts thought about that too.
I like the fact that now their lives have been considered by our Governor of California and that now the Death Row Candidates eligible for lethal injection must think a new day!! The avenue of "death by Death Chamber" is now not an option (relate it to 'Suicide by Cop'). Inasmuch our governor in California has changed the injection to what is absorption, the sponge of the crime.
Again all over the News (relate it to the Zodiac Killer) as Polly Klaas was a girl that has a father that opened a really cool place in Petaluma that made ready the idea that we should always stay aware of the dangers in Marin County/Northern California. Why? The murderer was at-large and the result closed at the Judges Chambers by sentence however the Murderer lived there prior to the abduction and killing of Polly Klaas. This means that that Convict sitting on Death Row in San Quentin walked the streets of Petaluma, drove Highway 101, went to stores, slept and woke, rented or owned property, moved around, looked at people, spoke to people, smiled, frowned, probable drove a car and yet still was able to abduct someone without cause? Yes.
The roads were filled to the brim with any and every person that was able to look for Polly Klaas when she came up missing. In regards to what the evident delivered the horror never left that scene as shown on local Channel 4 KRON Morning News after the Cops found or discovered her body on December 4, 1993? Polly Klaas lived, breathed, laughed, walked the streets of Petaluma? In reality I don't know and I am tired of hearing about the disgrace of shame of not being quick enough to do something when we all ran as fast as we could. I hate those terms of what I heard once upon at time? What makes horror a murderers dream? To what ends.
Is it the 'what if' scenario running at prices? Is the price 'Life'? Please stop pushing things that make ready such things that named and not understood? What scenario is the place that made that month nightmares that I still see?
The entire affair was a missing girl and not the relief of the murderer that would find the release in death as many speak of death in strange and deafening ways. I personally like that the Murderer of Polly Klaas is stuck in San Quentin and must produce his face to all the guards and the Warden everyday. Why? Terrifying times are terrifying times. I like the fact that he is chained by the connection of his past as I pay my taxes and therefor employ those guards and with absolute certainty understand that those guards are not blind to that 'Murderer' of Polly Klaas whom actually is recorded to have been murdered Polly Klaas on October 1, 1993. Just by that connection alone that Murderer of Polly Klaas must confront the Men that did stop him, so the Manhunt was successful? What is the description that is given for a time of hope when the completion gave death? The promise of difference is the fact that that Murderer was found, convicted and given the Death Penalty while all over the News and yet breathing gasped as the news was ghastly? What gathering makes a stone a grave? Is it the cemetery, the flowers, the plot?
Until life is understood and until people stop saying that people go to a better place after death and until our governor of California can prove that the death row candidates for lethal injection are not producing crimes to do suicide via any Means (Suicide by Cop/Manhunt(?)) and until the facts become ready in science to explain that death is not a relief and until our State of California figures out those reincarnation/incarnation things I will sleep better knowing that the San Quentin guards and the Warden of San Quentin will see the Death Row Convicts sitting, eating, thinking, walking and mostly living the sentence that their peers handed down to them minus the date on their Stone. I will sleep better knowing that the clock work is the responsibility of the record that keeps it at the Court House and that records the entire thing as being San Quentin's responsibility to ensure the debt to society is not just a sentence passed down by his peers but that the Death Penalty was served and not delivered by lethal injection instead. Although many will not understand this comprehension the average-reader may also not understand that our understanding of death should not be the retention thereof to again suffer announcement after announcement for date after date to set hour after hour to the horrid murder of the convict that has production of the scene again. I am not against Capital Punishment, and there is no however in this case or any case, what I am against is all the pushing, the News, the horror, the injection (https://deathpenaltyinfo.org/state-lethal-injection), the Appeals, the pain.
It reminds me to be careful, to be aware of my surroundings, it reminds me that murderers get more attention than the ones the murderers killed and mostly it makes any potential right now think that a life behind bars with the death penalty really means something more than it did yesterday. I am reminded by Death Row that convictions mean more than a sentence. I am reminded that those Convicted started somewhere. I am reminded to look-up.

Suicide by cop or suicide by police is a suicide method in which a suicidal individual deliberately behaves in a threatening manner, with intent to provoke a lethal response from a public safety or law enforcement officer.[1]
There
are two broad categories of "suicide by cop". The first is when
someone has committed a crime and is being pursued by the police and
decides that they would rather die than be arrested. These people may
not otherwise be suicidal but may simply decide that life is not worth
living if they are incarcerated and thus will provoke police to kill
them. The second version involves people who are already contemplating
suicide and who decide that provoking law enforcement into killing them
is the best way to act on their desires. These individuals may commit a
crime with the specific intention of provoking a law enforcement
response.

Overview
The idea of committing suicide in this manner is based on trained procedures of law enforcement officers, specifically the policy on the use of deadly force. In jurisdictions where officials are readily capable of deadly force (often by being equipped with firearms), there are usually set circumstances where they will predictably use deadly force against a threat to themselves or others. This form of suicide functions by exploiting this trained reaction. The most common scenario is pointing a firearm at a police officer or an innocent person, which would be expected to provoke an officer to fire on them. However, many variants exist; for example, attacking with a knife or other hand weapon, trying to run an officer or other person over with a car, or trying to trigger a (real or presumed) explosive device.
This concept hinges on the person's state of mind, and their desire to end their own life, which can be difficult to determine post mortem.[2] Some cases are obvious, such as pointing an unloaded or non-functioning gun (such as a toy gun, air gun, airsoft gun or starter's pistol) at officers, or the presence of a suicide note. Some suspects brazenly announce their intention to die before they act (e.g., the iconic declaration "You'll never take me alive!")[citation needed]. However, many cases can be more difficult to determine, as some suspects with the desire to die will actually fire live ammunition and even kill people before being killed themselves. Many law enforcement training programs have added sections to specifically address handling these situations if officers suspect that the subject is attempting to goad them into using lethal force.
History
Many modern cases that pre-date the formal recognition of the phenomenon have been identified or speculated by historians as matching the pattern now known as suicide by cop. According to authors Mark Lindsay and David Lester, Houston McCoy, one of the two Austin Police Department officers who shot and killed Charles Whitman, the "Texas Tower Sniper", believed that Whitman could have shot him and fellow officer Ramiro Martinez, but "he was waiting for them, and wanted to be shot."[3] The 1976 death of Mal Evans, road manager, assistant, and a friend of The Beatles, who aimed an air gun at police and refused to put it down, was theorized as a possible example of this phenomenon.[4] Some historians believe that Giuseppe Zangara, the man who killed Chicago mayor Anton Cermak in a possible attempt to assassinate then President-Elect Franklin D. Roosevelt, might have been attempting suicide by police.[5]Recognition and research

Some of the first research into suicide by cop was completed by Sgt. Rick Parent of the Delta Police Department. Parent's research of 843 police shootings determined that about 50% were victim precipitated homicide. Police defined victim precipitated homicide as "an incident in which an individual bent on self-destruction, engages in life threatening and criminal behavior to force law enforcement officers to kill them."[9]
The first formally labeled "Suicide by Cop" case in English legal history was a judgment made by the Reverend Dr. William Dolman while serving as a London coroner between 1993 and 2007.[10] It set a legal precedent and the judgment, as a cause of death, has been a part of English law since.

Examples
- The Aramoana massacre, a spree shooting that occurred on 13 November 1990 in New Zealand. Police shot the suspect dead as he came out of a house firing from the hip and screaming "Kill me!"[12]
- In June 2015, 21-year-old Trepierre Hummons posted his intent to commit suicide by cop on Facebook. He called 9-1-1 and reported he'd seen a man acting erratically with a gun. He then shot and killed the responding officer. The next officer to arrive on the scene shot and killed Hummons.[13]
- In December 2008, 15-year-old Tyler Cassidy was shot and killed by three Victoria Police officers after he threatened them with two large knives and ordered them to shoot him.[14]
- Myron May, a 31-year-old man believing he was a victim of government covert harassment on the line of MKUltra and COINTELPRO cold war clandestine US government programs, committed suicide by cop on 20 November 2014 after recording his intentions on tape.[15]
- On 4 January 2015 a 32-year-old San Francisco man, Matthew Hoffman, staged a standoff with police in the parking lot of an SFPD station. When he brandished the gun, two officers shot him a total of three times. He left a message for the officers in his cell phone “You did nothing wrong,” Hoffman’s note said, “You ended the life of a man who was too much of a coward to do it himself … I provoked you. I threatened your life as well as the lives of those around me.” [16]
- Anton Lundin Pettersson, the perpetrator of the 2015 Trollhättan school attack in Sweden, wrote a message to an online friend an hour before the attack, where he says that he expected to be dead within one or two hours, that he hated himself and that "I hope those fucking cops aim straight, because I really don't want to survive the commotion". Pettersson had a history of mental illness, and a book about the attack with interviews of many people around him states that "during the period before the attack, he wavered between several options; to seek professional help, to kill himself 'normally' or to attack people around him to get killed".[17]
- On 28 May 2017 a man in Mississippi suspected of murdering seven of his family members and a police officer told a journalist that by shooting towards police, "Suicide by cop was my intention. I ain't fit to live. Not after what I've done."[18]
