What And Why?
Why is it you survive? Why do you try so hard to get over what has happened to you and yet what has happened to you makes you who you are. How do you move on from the past when it is slaming you in the face in the present. How do you take life when life delivered you to a monster? If you don't know love, why is that so bad? If you are the child of a monster, does that make you one? How do you put one foot in front of another when your flashbacks go live? How do you stop the pain, when all you know is pain and it hurts all the time? How do you fight to get back up on your feet, when your feet are tired of running? How do you do what you promised yourself to do when you were young, when nobody will take the time to listen? How do you tell a story when the story is your life? How do you undo your sin, when your sin is being born? How do you communicate to anyone that a con is still being run today? How do you tell anyone that you cannot let something go because so many people are still in danger of being manipulated? How do you do what is so difficult when the nightmares still plague you? How do you say to anyone that the professionals tell you not to have anything to do with your family because they are so destructive? How do you stop the destruction of a person, when you cannot get anyone to realize that everyone that has been impacted, ran away after they new it was a con? How do you tell those people to stop hiding and being embarrassed their losses and to suck it up so that other people don't suffer the same? How do you stop this train, when nobody ever stands against what harmed them? How do you show compassion for all of these same people when they are the people that caused you so much harm? How do you explain who you are and that you are missing so much because you don't know love? How do you tell your older sister to stop telling you she is so sorry you did not have a childhood, when you believe you did, it was just so different? How do you tell your sister when she starts to tell you all that you are missing, that you don't feel at all bad about it because if you don't know your missing it, you don't know what you are missing. So, it doesn't matter if I missing something, I don't know what it is. Why does my life make people cry? Why can't I just stop the madness so nobody else gets hurt? Why can't I do what I need to do? Why am I so incapable? Why can't I get anyone's help to stop or look at anything that has happened? Why does life deliver to you the gift of breath if while I am using this gift I cannot do anything for anyone but myself? Why do we have flashbacks, if we can't understand what to do with them? Why do we survive, if when we do, we just are meant to go on like all of you? How can we go on like all of you, if we are survivors of severe neglect, no love, abuse, rape and incest? If I don't have what you have to ground myself with, how is it that I am meant to be acceptable to you if what grounds me is unexplainable? If you don't know love, then how is it you are meant to know anything else? If it matters so much then why don't people take the time to show you what it is you are missing? If I survived so that I could defend my life as an adult, then why would being loved even matter? If it is so troublesome to listen to my story, then why do you want to always know about horror? Why is it that society doesn't thrive and prosper on the positive? Why is it people look for the most tragic and horrible stories to report? Why is is everybody tunes in to these and not to the healthy stories? Why is it a problem I learned how to be from the brady bunch? Where are you meant to learn family values if they are taught like mine were? Where do you turn for help, when help never came for you? In the past few years people have made it impossible to meet them face to face.
Today I came to an enlightenment about how people from my past are treating me. They all keep me at a distance. All communication, if any, is on the phone or via email. I thought to myself, Why do they still contact me but never have time to see me. I have tried to visit on several different occasions in the past five to six years and they always have company, the house is being cleaned, the pool is in trouble or any number of other excuses. In the case of my mother and step-father, they put a restraining order on me two years ago. My mother continues to break it of course. As far as the other people I know they have just given me the cold shoulder, I call or email and I never hear anything back.
At first I never thought to much about it, but the other day it struck me really hard. First off it has been a solid three years since I have heard from most of the people I know. The rest of the people that I do know will only contact me by phone. The last time that I went to pick something up at a friends house, they left it outside for me to pick up. I thought that it was a little unusual but then again the entire thing was just different than the norm. I did try calling several times and she never answered or returned my call, it has been two years now.
Here is my insight. If you keep someone at arms length and they never have an opportunity to speak to you face to face, then you can say anything that you want to them without them ever seeing your face or eyes. You can lie, antagonize, drop innuendos, be cruel, take a tone, never get to the point and mostly you can do all of this under the protection of the person you are speaking to never seeing you express your true feelings via face to face contact. I mean how do you get to the truth about anything? You never confront people on the phone, or at least I have not done to much of it. I usually have a conversation with somebody and something will come to mind and I ask them about it. The look on their face usually gives away how they are feeling about the subject matter you are speaking of. I know this is a very important observation to make during any given conversation in life. Nobody wants to make another person uncomfortable while having a conversation. I have not seen anyone that I have known that would have the answers that I need to find out why I am getting the cold shoulder. I have not seen my oldest daughter, nor have I heard from her in three years. Ever since she graduated from Berkeley. She did not invite me and I don't even know why. My feelings were terribly hurt over this one but I never called to ask her anything about it. In fact I wrote her a couple of emails about it but never did try to call or see her, I just don't know what to say to such a person. I worked very hard for a very long time so that she could go to the school of her dreams. To not even invite me to the functions on the University or Graduation was more than an insult to me. it was a slap in the face for even existing. Obviously she does not want me as a parent which is fine with me, all she had to do was take me out to lunch or dinner and tell me like a civilized human being would do, face to face, I can respect that one. My mother is a cult leader and very successful malignant narcissist so I understand just about anything anyone would like to tell me about knowing me. With a mother like the one I have you never have to many quite moments in your life if you are a friend or child of mine. You understand that since the restraining order she had had my youngest daughter living at her house and now my son lives and attends boarding school in San Friends out of her house. Since the restraining order includes any contact I cannot and have not been able to contact my younger children at all in the past few years. So basically, my daughter could have, in theory taken me out and have done this with dignity and grace. You can only do something that impacts another persons life if you do it in person to explain your reasoning for your actions and then the person (I happen to be her mother) has an opportunity or not to change so that they may be able to stay in your life. To just cut someone off by not answering or by absolutely no communication it leaves you or me in this case, wondering what she is so guilty of that she cannot even call or write to tell me why she no longer wants to speak to me or have her in her life at all.
I would think that all of this would be an isolated case, but my father (supposedly anyway) my siblings, my mother, my step-father and friends that I used to have, just will not have any personal contact with me. I spoke to an old friend that my daughter had been living with during her schooling at the University of Berkeley. This person was helpful and it was a delight to speak to her after so many years had passed. I was invited to call her back and have dinner. I did do this within two or three days of the invite, I left a message and never heard anything. So, I called the next time I was in town and the number was disconnected. I emailed and I got no response. Now this is the person that was my friend and is an adult older than I. She does have my daughter in her life and did go to her graduation. I have not spoken to her since but felt that some three years had passed and that our friendship meant more than the spoiled brat behavior that my daughter seems to be portraying at the moment, so I called. But, why change the number? Why not respond to the email that I sent? Why be so delightful and then turn a cold shoulder to and be so rude as to just dissconnect your phone number?
I believe that it is the same reason why everyone is happy to have my number (I no longer have a phone) and call but nobody wants to carry through and meet. I mean, Hell, when you meet the person that is causing you to feel guilt, you may turn a funny color and want to puke. This may give this stupid girl (me) an idea that she is being had. As far as my immediate family goes (not my children) they don't want to meet at all. I mean just imagine, "Hi, how are you? I have been doing some thinking and have some questions about my childhood?" The entire room begins to puke and proceed to pass out after my question. The End for now, this is all causing me to feel ill as well, especially if I find out I am correct.
This all occurred to me because this cold shoulder and isolation treatment is not new to me. It is a repeat performance from the age of four or so. That is why it has been making me so sick to my stomach. It is one thing to not speak to a person for a reason, but to not have any contact with them because you need them to stay off balance in life so they never confront you or never become settled with the past makes it all very different. In fact, it makes vengence seem sweet, especially when you were willing to just drop it all because of the embarrassment from when you were small.

Listening and Entertaining idea's (proposed or Not) will edge you out into the belief you seek. Religion is so daunting to me. Involving a great amount of self-reflection into "why" one is here, walking today, yet, spirituality is so much work. Almost as it is easier to follow than to lead yourself, to trust, what may be, faith in humanity.
Globally or Universally spoken, I listen. It is not the good or the bad that shapes any one person, but, the combination of both that derives the outcome of what that individual will chose as a representation of their said belief.

Speaking Out Against Abuse!
I am not certain if the layman is aware of how difficult it is to speak on our own accord. In many cases, such as my own, it takes us years and quiet a bit of suffering more abuse from our families to finally push us into defending our lives. This often comes about when we have hit the end of the road and are completely fed up with the treatment that we receive from the abusers.
I experienced being traumatized yet again by my mothers constant barrage into my life. She would leave 25 to 30 messages on my answering machine in a matter of 3 to 4 hours. This would go on until I finally would answer the phone. This would happen at home or at work. If I happened to be a work during one these episodes the calls would come in at the same rate. In fact my mother respected nothing at all in my life. My family would run me down and say that I was "Poor white trash" or call me a "Hick." I owned my own home in Sacramento, I had a beautiful pool, a lovely car and I paid my bills all by myself. I did all of this just like a normal person would do.
It seems to be an abusers position to continue to abuse regardless of how hard you try to turn and walk the other way in your life. My mother told me that I was such a good Pagan. I was a little shocked at her brash words but I had come to accept the insults as everyday communication from her. The pain that comes from these comments lingers with you as you march on in your life. You can try to excuse them or you can try to ignore them, no matter what you attempt to do with the rudeness of this or any other human being, it has a tendency to stay with you. Especially when you are confused about love and how it is shown to you. I only knew her abusive attention as the love that she showed to me. So it has taken me years and years to finally come to the decision that I need to stop the abuse because even though it is love to me, it is destroying me at the same time.
The question really comes down to nothing more than Why? Why are we meant to be quiet and not defend ourselves from these monsters in our lives? Why are we meant to turn a blind eye to the damages they do to other people? Why can they say whatever they please and people will say, "Oh, but they will never change."? Why are we encouraged to walk away again and again, yet never encouraged to stay and fight for our dignity? Why?
I did have a good job. I supported myself and my children. I will work again, I was just hurt very badly on the job. In fact my lawyer is working very hard to get me the back pay from the years that the Workers Compensation Company did not pay me. Had they continued to pay me while I was getting better I would not be in the situation that I am currently. But, such is life, no one said that it would be easy.
As I fell further down this rabbit hole I found that the events from my past became undeniable. Each day they began to haunt me more and more. I am sorry that my family chose to be so cruel to me in the past few years, for they are the reason that I have decided to speak up. Had they never attacked my life again I would have allowed this all to fall by the way side, as I have always done. However, a person can only sustain themselves for so long before the dam begins to crumble and then eventually break. The hammering of my mother and family upon my life must stop. The only way to stop an abuser is by standing and saying in a public venue, "Stop abusing me." It seems that if you do not do this publicly they, in the collective sense, think they are getting away with all the abuse. The abuse must end.
Speaking out on a Google Blog is a very difficult and scary thing to do. This is the beginning and I am very grateful to Google for providing me with a venue to speak my mind freely. To make this extremely big decision in your life is very intimidating at first. I was always told that I would be killed if I ever spoke out against my family and what they have done. I believed them, I didn't question what they had told me so long ago. When I first began to blog, I shook with fear. I was sure somehow that I would just drop dead at any moment during my blogging. The fear and the horror of this reality is felt throughout my body. It is almost as if my very cell structure has been immersed in their words and threats. All of what has happened to me in my life, is soaked into me that way. My step-father beat it into me so that I would never forget and I have not ever forgotten. Abusers don't stop when you are 18 years old. Abusers never stop at all. So for all the layman that believe we can just heal and move forward, that is a beautiful thought and/or statement. Sadly, many of us have done that with our lives and as we were going along we were attacked again by the same abusers. Nothing stops a Narcissist, a Malignant Narcissist or better known in the medical field a Sociopath from continuing what they want to do. They will do anything and everything to keep you from being at peace in your life. This is a well-known fact.
The other statement provided to me by my step-father in my adult life was, "Nobody will believe you!" I think that this is the biggest fear that we, as the adult children of these abusers seem to face. When the decision is made to finally speak on what has happened to us, this simple statement that my step-father made such a point to ram down my throat has been considered. I know for myself that I never questioned people believing me or not, contrary to what my step-father had ever said. All anyone would have to do in my case is to go and meet my family. In fact I am often told that my mother will never change. I do know this to be a fact. This is why I am not going to step-aside or put down the past for a future that will never happen as long as these monsters continue to do as the please, when they please in my life. I have always felt that if and when I ever decided to speak-out against my mother and it came down to believability of one or the other one of us, that the issue only lies in the laps of the people that just judge and do not take the time to go and meet her in person or investigate the members of her congregation. I know that two of the Church Members were going to appear on the Montel Williams show about Cults. So I know that it would not take much of an investigation on any one persons part to realize that there is trouble in this family. My story is not known and so my blogging is just a simple way to express myself. So whether one would believe me or not, it would never be an issue for me because I do not plan to go to court and press charges for all that I have suffered.
I enjoy a community on this Google Blog that supports one another and is part of the plight on standing against abuse. This community supports one another without having to say, "Prove it." Those words seem to spill from the mouths of the idiots and ignoramus in the World. I don't have to prove that my best friend committed suicide. He did. It is a fact. He could no longer stand the growing fear inside him as it began to afflict him more and more each day. That is something that I can relate with very strongly. Stop the abuse! It is unkind and cruel to do in the first place, let alone continue to do to you as an adult, it is torture to hold yourself above these daily attacks. Stop the abuse!
If we do not stand and promote healthy lifestyles for ourselves, who will? Who will stand and stop these people from the continued abuse on our lives. Narcissists, Malignant Narcissists, Sociopaths and Enablers don't stop on their own accord. Learning to stand against what Society believes we should do is difficult enough, but when we are faced with the continued slaughter of our lives behind the backs of the very people that believe we should turn the other cheek, it becomes insurmountable. I know that as each of our stories are told by us, the pressure to stop speaking out on abuse becomes greater for each and everyone of us that stands against the norm. The best pay back, as it is so eloquently said by many people, is not to keep going and becoming successful. I did that in my life and I never felt peace from doing what Society said that I should do, just move on. I know that the best pay back is to know that there is nothing owed by me and that there is no one to pay back at all. I know that the best decision for my life is to stand up and say, "Stop the Abuse!" I cannot do that in silence. I can only do that with an audible voice and the strength that comes from within myself to stand against evil regardless of the cost.

Balanced armature[edit]
A balanced armature is a sound transducer design primarily intended to increase the electrical efficiency of the element by eliminating the stress on the diaphragm characteristic of many other magnetic transducer systems. As shown schematically in the first diagram, it consists of a moving magnetic armature that is pivoted so it can move in the field of the permanent magnet. When precisely centered in the magnetic field there is no net force on the armature, hence the term 'balanced.' As illustrated in the second diagram, when there is electric current through the coil, it magnetizes the armature one way or the other, causing it to rotate slightly one way or the other about the pivot thus moving the diaphragm to make sound.The design is not mechanically stable; a slight imbalance makes the armature stick to one pole of the magnet. A fairly stiff restoring force is required to hold the armature in the 'balance' position. Although this reduces its efficiency, this design can still produce more sound from less power than any other[clarification needed]. Popularized in the 1920s as Baldwin Mica Diaphragm radio headphones, balanced armature transducers were refined during World War II for use in military sound powered telephones. Some of these achieved astonishing electro-acoustic conversion efficiencies, in the range of 20% to 40%, for narrow bandwidth voice signals.Today they are typically used only in in-ear headphones and hearing aids, where their diminutive size is a major advantage. They generally are limited at the extremes of the hearing spectrum (e.g. below 20 Hz and above 16 kHz) and require a better seal than other types of drivers to deliver their full potential. Higher-end models may employ multiple armature drivers, dividing the frequency ranges between them using a passive crossover network. A few combine an armature driver with a small moving-coil driver for increased bass output.The earliest loudspeakers for radio receivers used balanced armature drivers for their cones.
